Aubrac is the southernmost of the volcanic massifs of Auvergne, this basaltic plateau extends over 3 departments: Lozère, Cantal and Aveyron. Aubrac peaks at 1469 meters at Mailhebieu’s signal. Above 850 meters, Aubrac is a huge pasture populated by herds in the summer. In addition to breathtaking landscapes, Aubrac has a very varied flora with more than 1000 species, the most famous is the “Aubrac tea”.
